Very favorite for work of Benjamin Heine, a young Belgian artist. Stuffed talent, it created the series of images “Pencil VS Camera”, combining photographs and drawings, and of which returned is single. More images in the continuation of the article.

The work of Audrey Kawasaki can most aptly be described as serenealist. Not batshit crazy like the typical surrealism but most definitely dreamy and ethereal. Serene in its soft colors and calm expressions but masking a hint of danger perhaps servitude? Almost Victorian in her subjects stature there is something wildly expressionistic about her paintings. Either way they are beautiful. She was at a gallery in NYC earlier this year and I missed it. Sigh. My first regret of 2010. #Partake!
