Alexa Meade's portfolio is littered with the works garnered out of this technique. Its rather brilliant. I wonder why one has thought of it before. Or perhaps they have? I'm rambling. Enjoy! :)
Things are not as they seem

So close that when your eyes close I fall asleep.

Awesome Collage work from Atslopes
Check out this crazy hybrid

Audrey Kawasaki
The work of Audrey Kawasaki can most aptly be described as serenealist. Not batshit crazy like the typical surrealism but most definitely dreamy and ethereal. Serene in its soft colors and calm expressions but masking a hint of danger perhaps servitude? Almost Victorian in her subjects stature there is something wildly expressionistic about her paintings. Either way they are beautiful. She was at a gallery in NYC earlier this year and I missed it. Sigh. My first regret of 2010. #Partake!

Eric Zener - Revisited
An incredible work by Eric Zener based in California, with paintings entirely realized with oil. This American painter is specialist in made hyper-realistic at the same time in the human figures and water. Many examples are to be discovered in the continuation.

Global Warming by Banksy
Off of the recent Global Warming Conferences in Copenhagen a general malaise has fallen over the rational peoples of the world. This malaise is filled with stringent odor of ignorance and the rotten tediousness of these 'talks' which venture to solve nothing and create legislation better equipped to help companies pollute our environs in the name of profit. Banksy put these on the banks of the Camden Canal in London. Sigh. Humans will never learn. Anyway, Banksy has a few comments on the isssue. Indulge :)

Scott Listfield
Art is... well, here, its an astronaught in some pretty ridiculous situations... Scott Listfield takes us on a bit of ride here as he explores pop and corporate cultures.... have a bite on us! Enjoy!

You can find out more about that astronaught: Here
Adrian Ghenie
These paintings are so dark and surreal yet logical. Everything seems to be decaying around them. Just as it is around us. Partake!
